Mission

The purpose of the Parish Council is to offer advice and counsel to the pastor. As directed by the pastor, the Parish Council works to discern a set of goals for the parish and facilitate their implementation. These goals are developed and evaluated as needed after a period of research, reflection, discussion, and prayer. The council works with the pastor to service the needs of the parish, build community, and keep parish life current and vibrant.

Our Role

Our role is to:

• Offer advice and counsel the pastor on pastoral matters which he brings to the council and those that are identify within the parish.
• Plan pastoral programs and improve pastoral services.
• Work with the pastor to evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and services to facilitate improvement, substitution or termination.
• Form community within our group as a sign and witness of unity for the larger parish community.
• Work to promote communication and understanding among parish organization and between the parish and the diocese in accordance with the universal Church.

If you prefer paper communication, there is a suggestion box on the bulletin board in the foyer of the all, on the right as you enter. You may also speak directly with any parish council member about your concern. We discuss your concern and suggestions at our next schedule meeting. Meetings are held regularly on the first Tuesday of the month in the conference room. These meeting are open to all parishioners. The dates are listed on the parish calendar on the website and on the monthly bulletin calendar.
