Teresa' Chili

1 pound ground beef
1 can crushed tomatoes
3 cans tomato sauce
1 can dark kidney beans
2 pks chili powder seasoning mix
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt & pepper
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp red pepper
1 pepperoncini chopped up
1/3 cup perreroncini juice

Apple Crisp

Pre-head oven 325 Degrees
Butter sides & bottom of 13 x 9 Casserole dish
Peel & cut 8-10 medium/large apples (*use as many different "tart" apples as possible. Granny Smith, Jongold, Empire, Stayman, etc) Use 1 sweet apple
Layer the apples - on top of each layer sprinkle apples with cinnamon and 1 tsp sugar. When done layering, add 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract.
Sprinkle with topping as evenly as possible. Bake 40 minutes. Take out, let cool for a few minutes then put 6 - 10 butter pats across the top to melt and sprinkle with cinnamon
Topping
1 cup oatmeal
3/4 cup sugar
3/4cup flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 stick butter
Blend in food processor or blender. |
